Yeah, and this thing was CHEAP! *EXTREMELY* cheap. It just needed a little TLC, a powdercoating and new sticker set, and I could've made a few hundred off it when I decided to sell. I've always been a big fan of Haro, I have a (I think) 2001 Haro 8.1 mountain bike that w/an extra large frame that I picked up on eBay a few years ago. Love that thing!
But such is life....

BMX'er from back in the day are you? lol

I used to race, was sponsored by TNT for a season when I was 17, then fractured my knee during the winter snowboarding...got my license 6 months later when I was done healing and never rode again. What a mistake that was! lol

I dabbled in it flatland ;)

I had a black Dyno D-Tour with:
-chrome Haro Pro kneesaver handle bars
-black Tioga braced seat post
-Odyssey Gyro
-black Odyssey Pitbulls
-chrome dK stem
-white Skyway Tuff IIs
-Legal Action pegs

and some other odds and ends ;) I pawned it about 12 years ago when I *really* needed the cash. Pity, actually.

I was mowing lawns, raking leaves and shoveling snow when I was a weee one! I put the order in for my custom wheels at the local shop when I was in 8th grade... paid $350 cash, of money that I had earned doing business in the neighbor hood. The parental units never gave me sh*t! Not even allowance, so the same as it is today anything I want or wanted I foot the bill. Things like that may suck when your young, especially when your friends get everything handed to them, however in the long run it makes you a better person.

I agree with you regarding having things handed to you. I've been working since I was 16, but those first 3 or 4 years, things were royally messed up. I'm not going to go into details of the past, but there were some things the parental units were doing that have yet to be atoned for, and I'll leave it at that. *lol*
