Default 5 speed flywheel - again

I was going to make the order today but the gentleman was unsure as much as I was. This is the 5 speed flywheel that can fit into the type II 3.2L clutch right? Or does it have to be a 91-92 5 spd flywheel? I'll get the order in as soon as I can get some kind of confirmation. Sorry for the repost of the repost, but trying to get the order in before the end of today and currently @ work. Someone help me. Thanks guys!

Thata a first gen flywheel. Pretty sure its different than the G2'S flywheel. Any 2nd gen 91-95 is what you want

Default any MT G2 5 speed flywheel work on a G2 6 speed MT?

sorry to trudge this up..but didn't feel my question was worth a new thread.

Can I use any G2 flywheel?

i.e. I've got a 1994 6 Speed. Can I use a 5sp flywheel from 1991?

Yes. You need a 5spd clutch kit also with the 5spd flywheel.

Ahhhh. that is good to know.

I can find 5 speed flywheels left and right for 1991-1992 but not sure about the bolts.

Its just merely a weight savings? Don't the engineers make things for a reason? (playing devils advocate here) Are the 5 speed kits apt to fail faster?

Depends on whether you buy crap or not.

The dual mass in the 6 is a very smooth setup, but I don't *think* they last any longer. My Legend with a 6 dual mass is on its second, the first dual mass flywheel melted down and came apart at 90K based on records.

It's really up to you. I like the 5spd setup cost a lot better than the DM setup... to the tune of 3 or 4 times less expensive for OEM.
