...what is wrong with this picture

I was very fortunate today; both rear tires of THIS yellow behemoth blew out while cruising @55mph on I-5 Soouth

- left rear tire went first
- sweeper swerved left then right
- right rear tire exploded seconds later
- out of control, let go of the steering wheel
- inertia took over, did 180; facing on coming traffic when it finally stopped

...thank goodness this type of vehicle is on the HEAVY side - 20k lbs gvwr!

Again, luck was on my side; it happened before the afternoon "rush hour" commute

...it set me back around six Franklins, 315/80/22.5 tires FTMFL!

ive had 2 flats in a semi, i found out by a guy telling me on the CB.

moral of the story, drive something with a dually.

I bet even if a car hit the sweeper you would have only just felt a slight *thump*.
That must be a huge plus in having a +20klbs. hooptie right?
