Default Headlight washer jet

One of the rule of the xenon headlights here in Europe are headlights washer jets working with windshield jets at the same time. To have no problems with cops i decided to swap washer jets from EDm Legend to Acura and make them work when using windshield jets.

What you need?

1) EDM washer bottle with motor for headlight jets, motor for windshield jets are the same.
2)OEM headlight jets - but you have notice one thing, jets for KA8 and KA7 are the same, they vary with rubber under them.
3)one way valves wich keep fluid in the hoses to make work it faster and easier for the motor
4)hoses- one piece i used some garden hose
5)relay and some wires and fuses - 25A
6)dremel to drill hole for jets.
7)metal brake fluid mount for jets if you don't have OEM.

Firts you will have to demount front bumper, and aply washer bottle

Next i take positive from spare place in the underhood fuse/relay box to my relay. Aplly 25Afuse - everything looks like OEm.the good point is that if you don't want to use jets you can only take off the fuse. I loose 5,5 litres of washer fluid for every 400-500km in bad driving conditions.on the photo it's red wire under the with-blue one.

i have place relay under the side headlight mounting.
than one wire goes to headlight washer motor, another connectr should be ground to the car. Wetake signalto relay from positive wire from windshield washer motor. Rlay should be ground also to the car. Wring is done.

next we have to take apart under bumper styrofoam and plastic bumper mount. i cut the styrofoam and left it only for the front of the bumper. We can make holes and mount jets.

before every jet must be mount one way valve! it's 90 degree angle as you can see. Apply hoses and it need some pationt to place the fluid hoses under the bumper.

Now we should intall the bumper and enjoy our hard work
sorry for my english and luck of photos but i don't have much time to shoot them.

that would be neat, but I've always wondered... can you point them forward so when that a$$hole in front of uses their windshield cleaner and it misses their car and hits your's you can blast them... with oil?

Good DIY!
