Default Front end vibration

I gotta weird issue... After I drive my car for about 10 -15 mins continually, my steering wheel starts to wobble left to right. It even does it at low speeds (starting at 30 mph) and i notice some vibration in the front right side. When the wobble starts braking causes a vibration just as if my rotors were warped which they aren't. I took it to a shop and they said it's my wheel bearing that's causing this. He said when the bearing heats up it'll cause this vibration.

I know my wheel bearing is bad cuz it makes whooping noise but I've never heard of a bad bearing causing the symptoms above. I also checked the caliper to see if it was seized but it was fine and I JUST put brand new tires on as well.

Any ideas ? Thanks.

I'll try replacing the bearing.... Thanks Guys!

Just curious how would that cause my brakes to vibrate that way ?

yup. start with the bearing, then goto axles. our axles are notorious for causing vibrations

Just finished my bearing. Took it for a quick ride and it feels good so far. However, it was the same before until i've driven it for a few minutes. I'll give an update later if the problem comes back.

P.S.

That lower ball joint was a PITA to take off.... Tried w/ the Pitmans until i ripped the rubber apart. Had to change the lower ball joint after that point... Sucks.

Unfortunately that didn't resolve my problem. I'm still getting that really odd vibration/hopping w/ lots of noise in the front right. The axle on that side has no rips on either inner or outer boots.

Is it possible that the calipers could appear to be good and then suddenly hang up after a few miles of driving?

yes its possible. I have had ALOT of braking issues with legend calipers.

A brake line could also be the problem

1) if you are driving(after alignment) and car is going straight...does it pull under braking?
2) after a trip, is one rotor hotter than the other? do you have more brake dust on one side?
3) IF you turn slightly does vibration go away?
4) does it get worse if you are going up hill?(and in gear to lag motor)

I would have told you not to do the bearing until you tested it but figured you knew how. my bad. sorry
