We've got a pre-manufactured y which was recommended by, I believe, you. Flowmaster, if I recall correctly. From there it's all mandrel to a a small high flow race muffler.

Tip-in is in any gear - any time you move the throttle quickly, the ecu gives the injectors a "pump shot", which was increased (marginally) in the ROM I sent you. It helps with all-out acceleration.
I believe I may have given you bad advice with the merge. Expect some horsepower gains that coincide with that raspy sound going away.
