Last time I checked you could get an OEM filter off Ebay for $20-$25 shipped. That's how I got mine! You've now done MOST of the hard part. I had never changed mine and thankfully after 10 years it wasn't nearly that clogged. Somebody must live in the forest!

Yes, well the original owner had a few nice trees over it for years!!
Ive never changed it or even looked at it since i bought it over 4 years ago.

The oem filters are cheap and not worth what they are asking for. You can go to home depot and buy home ac filter that filter better for only 20 dollars and you can make least 6 filters out it.

Yea and theres still a small amount left the I cant for the life of me reach. Im going to put in a new filter and keep checking it daily untill theres not anything left.

Its been 90 degrees down here, and humid as hell, I cant wait to turn this puppy back on and enjoy the A/C

Drop that blower assembly out of there and clean the heater core area well now. If you don't I can guarantee your heater core will start leaking soon if it already isn't. Also to avoid this clean leaves off your window and verify that your cowl is in good condition.

I replaced the plate ( if thats the cowl) on the outside. It was rusted through when I first got the car. Im guessing thats how all the leafs got in the car.
I have no leaks, thankfully. But i will take apart what i can to remove all the leafs possible.
