I pulled it till it was tight when I left it. My e-brake doesn't need adjusting, I've adjusted it before. It doesn't pull up super high like a lot of Legends do. When I tried to get the button to click in and release I pulled it tighter because that sometimes helps when you feel it's just a little stuck. But this was a no-go, way stuck no matter what I did. Had to use a lot of force and it finally gave. I hope it's just a fluke thing haha. Kinda hard to drive when your e-brake won't let you

I had this problem and had to smash the button in with my fist several occurrences in a row. I had to loosen and tighten the button by turning it until I found the right spot for the button to not stick. Took a few tries. Been back to normal since then.

This may be a stupid question, but were you squeezing the button while you pulled up on the handle? This is how all parking brakes are intended to work, you can't just squeeze the button to release you have to squeeze and pull up. Maybe it just needs some fresh grease on the lock/release mechanism.

I was just thinking that, you have to pull up to release tention in order for the button to push in. You must have pulled the ebrake super hard/tight for it to be that hard to release. Also, the steeper the incline your on, the harder it is for the ebrake to release.

does anyone know who to replace the rear seat belt bezel on a g2 sedan?

The old one is dried up and cracked so it will come right out but how would i get the belt through the new one?

Yes that's what I meant when I said I pulled it tighter while pushing the button. I was pulling up on the handle and I pulled up so much and so tight that I couldn't pull it up any further and the button was still locked. I had to just bash the shit out of it and then it came unstuck. And it's been fine since.

No, I didn't pull it that tight when I left it. The mechanism in the handle had a moment apparently. Because after I got it to go down, I pulled it right back up to where it was and the button had no problems. Ironically, I was parked facing downhill. This may have had something to do with it, but I didn't pull my parking brake that tight. I mean even when I pull the parking brake up after putting it in park, I can still feel the car lurch forward a little bit as the transmission locking stops the car (when parked on an incline). So really, it's probably pretty pointless to even put the parking brake up unless you pull it so tight that it holds the weight of the car. Otherwise, it's doing nothing and possibly getting stuck too

Remove the seat bottom, unbolt the the seat belt anchor that's underneath the seat bottom, and then you can separate the bezel by sliding it all the way down the belt.

I was thinking the same thing but I realized that the belt is secured to the anchor by being stitched on .. and on the other end is the unit with the seatbelt unit with the spring. I thought it was going to be a quick install

Don't know if you have a coupe or sedan, but I've done this on a sedan. The anchor is not that big and it slides through that bezel rather easily. It will be a quick install. The most time consuming part will be getting the seat bottom out and bolt loose.
