I KEEP telling him to "speak up" but maybe he's trying to keep under the radar. He's done the drive from Birmingham Alabama to NALM (Colorado Springs) then drove home to Alaska in 2018. This time he's looking at a full round trip drive to and from Alaska. It'll be NUTS if he does it as I believe he said it like 3,500 miles EACH WAY!

I suppose so, that is if he makes it up this year like he was going to last year.

If you haven't been here since the 70s you probably won't even recognize Vancouver and the surrounding areas, lol its built up so much since then. Most of those cow pastures are high rises now.

Time to get your registration and payment in. The $100 fee will increase to $125 if not paid by June 30, 2024. Registration closes August 24, 2024. Must be registered and paid in full by August 1, 2024, to have your souvenir shirt guaranteed at the event.

We have already had a great response and would like to encourage those who are still thinking of attending to register now. Santa Fe is a special place, and I encourage you to come and experience the "City Different" cultures, architecture and food. Beautiful scenic drives in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and great weather with a high of 80 degrees and 50 at night due to the elevation of 7,200 feet above sea level. I stayed at The Sage Hotel, our host hotel, a few months ago to check it out and enjoyed my stay. I am planning a short drive for us on Thursday to the villages of Los Cerillos and Madrid. Friday we will take the High Road to Taos and see the Taos Pueblo (a World Heritage Site by UNESCO) and the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Saturday will be Dealer Day at the Albuquerque Acura dealership with our closing dinner that evening. Looking forward to a great NALM 2024. See you there!

For those of you driving from the east for a fast-food restaurant, I suggest Braum's. Dine in or drive-thru, they have hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, ice cream, soft drinks, and breakfast. They have a small grocery store in each location. I frequent their Wichita locations and always find good hamburgers, clean facilities, and reasonable prices. They have 300 stores in OK, TX, KS, AR, and MO. (No, I do not own any stock in Braum's.)
