Hi Everyone,

After being a fan of the Legend for over 30 years, I've finally purchased one!

Back in 1986, I started a Honda Owner's Club, and published a monthly newsletter. Being a college student in Southern California at the time, I established a relationship with American Honda, and their new Acura Division.
I got all of the press cars you saw on the covers of the magazines to review.

I remember, in 1987, receiving a White L Coupe to drive for about 2 weeks. I was on my way to San Diego and couldn't figure out the radio, and stopped at the Honda dealer in San Juan Capistrano, hoping they could help. From the moment I pulled up in the service department, I was swarmed with every employee of the dealership including the owner. The Coupe had been officially introduced about a week prior and it was the first one anyone had ever seen in person.

I just purchased a 1989 Geneva Green LS 5-Speed, from the original owner. 63K miles and it appears as if he had the dealer put on a rear spoiler, gold accessory wheels (I will be replacing those with the OEM ones,) and a CD player.

Glad to be part of this community, to appreciate Honda engineering at it's very best!
