Default Will 17x8.5" w/65 offset fit on rear of G2 Coupe?

Pretty much like the title says: Will 17x8.5" w/65 offset fit on rear of G2 Coupe? I know it wont fly for the front since I heard the max for the front on a 7.5" width is +55, therefore could it work if changing numbers around a bit to an 8.5" width on rear and +65 offset?

According to some research I've done and utilizing the Wheel Offset calculator, were talking about 25mm less clearance on the inside of the wheel, but can that work for the G2 Coupe back there? I know that some have gotten away with as much as +51 offset in the rear on an 8.5" width wheel (ex. EarlThePearl), so hopefully there is still room for more.

Thanks!

Well with that offset, clearing on the inside suspension components wouldn't be a factor at all since you're in essence pushing the rim towards the outside more by running with a lower offset. Nice set up by the way.

^ +1 A bit too wide for that offset. Will likely hit suspension.

There's only about 10-15mm btwn the rim and strut on my car. (it's lowered so there was camber). It's gonna be really close if it fits

8" with + 60 works front or rear. 8.5" +65 should be game, what tire are you running and are you lowered? I'm assuming it works because it calculates to 11mm less clearance on the inside. S2000 wheels are cheap(~$150 shipped) if you are looking for a guinea pig wheel with those specs.

I'm with Alperovich it's going to be a tight squeeze.

I agee it'll be REALLY close if it does fit and the chances of it hitting while driving over any bumps are pretty significant imo.
