Found! - Headlight Stone Shields
When I got my coupe way back in 2000, the previous owner had fitted some clear acrylic headlight covers shields. Over the years, they became old and cracked from the elements. No one made them anymore so I ran without any protection for a while.
When 3M came out with that thick, headlight film I found a source in Kent, WA that cut them to order but that film is less than ideal, IMO. The adhesive tends to block the already feeble light provided by the 9004 bulbs and it starts to cloud with age. If the lens has compound curves, the film doesn't conform very well even when heat is applied during installation. Also, the film doesn't cover the perimeter of the lens leaving it vulnerable. Fast forward to three days ago. I just happened to stumble onto an ebay listing for Legend headlight shields. The seller had listed the manufacturer, GTS. I went to the GTS website (Home - GT Styling) and purchased them direct. Even though they make them to order, they arrived in three days. I purchased two sets. The shields are available for both coupes and sedans in clear, smoke and yellow tint.

A few photos of them installed.
The fit is like the ones I had 15 years ago. I do need a left side marker lens.

Interesting . . . I remember back in the mid to late 1990s a company called GTS that was making headlight lens covers for all kinds of vehicles. I thought they had gone out of business years ago. As I recall they made a smoked lens for G2 Legends with a white lettered "GTS" emblem on them. They were pretty popular as I remember as I thought about getting some for my 1992 Nissan Maxima back some time around 1996 - 1997. Nice to see a product that IS available for the G1s especially as it looks like you all have glass lights (same as I had on my 1993 Acura Vigor). Now if they make a shield for the G2s then I would tell EVERYONE that has or gets a set of EDM headlights which are also glass (USDM and JDM are both high impact plastic housings) to get themselves a couple of sets to protect their investment.

They make them for G2's but they only list them for sedans.

GTS offered me a 20% discount with free shipping on these headlight covers so went ahead and bought a set. The only item available for the G1 on their site. $63.80 was the total to my door.
