No insurance updates yet, and the Escape I was borrowing is now officially my workhorse

It's a 2005, 3.0L V6, auto trans, 4WD

The older ones (I think 2001-2004) had headlight housings that were the same shape I think, but the headlights themselves were different. The newer ones (2008+) have differently shaped housings

Yeah, ours is a 2004. I'm going to be on the lookout for those 2005 + headlights are they are much cooler looking. We've had very good service from our Escape
so far at 135k. New front rotors and pads at 100k and 2 new sets of tires are the only major expenses so far.

Nice! This one has 216k kms (so about 125k miles) and has also been pretty good, IIRC it's been just tires, oil changes, and an alternator.

You'll want to double check that the headlight housings are actually compatible. I've seen pictures of a 2001 with 2005 headlights before, but there might have been other work necessary to swap them over. The 2005-2007 ones do have a more clean/modern look to them

It's been a minute, never did find my Legend enthusiasm again.

Retired the Escape with a bit more than 300k kms and replaced it with a black on black AWD 2010 Ford Fusion

Hey, Steve. Long time. Too bad you lost your enthusiasm for Legends. However, I do like the looks of the Ford Fusions. If I were to buy a domestic sedan, that would be tops on my list.

Thanks! I probably wouldn't have picked this on style alone but it's a joy to drive
