Default Guess who turned over 100K!

I love putting miles on my vehicles, 16,000 miles since I got her in February.
She turned over, and I was happy, the girl I was with thought I was crazy, and I guess I am… but she knows I make up for it.
So anyways, I brought the girl home, and I park my Legend. I had a large soda from Burger King, and I really needed to pee, so well I popped open my front door to be as discreet as possible in this already desolate area. As I’m pissing, I spot a black Crown Vic about half a block away. In order to make the right turn in the direction they were going, they had to look at traffic from my direction. So instantly, once they made the turn, I shut off my car, locked the doors, and booked it. I hid in sight of my car, just to make sure the NYPD wasn’t going to pull funny shit with my car. They stopped right next to it, got there flash lights out and started looking through my car. They looked around, they couldn’t see me, and they eventually left. I am sure they’ll keep an eye on me, as I am one of two Legends in my neighborhood and her HIDs, tints, etc. my make her look menacing, so we’ll see if they pick on me again.

So, thank god I am a Police Car spotting nut, it helps having a family full of cops, and I pick out cops real quick before they can get me.

I’ve got a video, but I’m lazy.

Another 300,000 miles to go.

Congrats on the milestone. I'm getting ready for 200k pretty soon. I don't get the cop story? You were taking a piss in public? Then you ran back to shut your car off and hide? And the cops were pursuing your car because it had HID's and tints? I don't get it lol.

Thanks Wes.
I had a couple of drinks, I made my car making 100K an excuse to drink tonight.
I'm gonna miss being a teenager.

Everyone thinks I am insane because I spot undercover cars blocks away. I know their methods, and what they like to pull because I come from a house with four NYPD officers.

I drank a lot of soda.
Pissed in public, in a reasonably desolate area.
I spotted the cops a half block away as I was pissing.
I knew they probably saw me, and thus turned the block around to get me.
I locked up my car and ran a half block away, the under covers rolled up to my car. Got their flash lights out and scoured my car. Sat there, looked around, finally drive away.

I did not want to get a BS ticket. I just have a feeling since my car is pretty rare in the neighborhood but easy to spot, if these two find me driving, they'll find some BS reason (like my tints) to pull me over.

Thanks Again Wes!

Ah OK. Makes more sense. I'm always looking for cops too. Especially at night. During the day there are more people on the roads so you blend in. At night, I keep my eyes open like a hawk for cops and if I see them from afar, I roll down my tinted windows just in case. Luckily, undercover cops aren't hardly in force in the particular city I live in, and those can be a little harder to spot. Congrats again!

Some cops can be real scumbags.
Thank You, I love racking up the miles.

Thanks Wes, yeah I haven't got pulled over in a long while, but I think it's because I am so proactive.

Thanks!
My local Precinct has a couple of late model Impalas, you can pick those out via antennae stack, the lack of a trim level badge, and the 2000-2005 era Impala Hub Caps. The Crown Vics, because who else drives Crown Vics, the Dodge Chargers because they tend to have black hub caps, and a really slick 2008 Ford Taurus with no tints, no atennaes, no exposed lights, I have gotten good. I could legit write a book on how to avoid the NYPD when in a vehicle, it's good to have a cop family. But, I only use these techniques to avoid getting pulled over for tints, because I think it is a BS law in NYC, I kept my fronts light, meanwhile the law is so flawed, as it only allows the rear "windshield" to be tinted, meanwhile an SUV or Mini-Van is allowed to have tinted windows, I believe due to the wording of the law which probably dates to the late 1980s, before SUVs and Minivans were prominent.

Thanks Josh, I really love racking miles, I think miles should be held as a token of her maintenance, rather than a bad thing, with using Tyson's coupe as the prime example.

Thanks Again Guys!

Here she is now...

& earlier in the year with me.
