91 COUPE auto. Sherwood. 8/10. Auto climate, type F. New Heads. Value?

eh turns out the owner of the last car i did head gaskets on wants to sell it. Its in super nice shape 8/10 easily. 100% rust free. Paint fading in a couple places.

Ive described the car, you know what they look like. Going from my description, what do you think this car is worth? No this thread is worthless without pics. im not trying to sell it just get an idea of the value of a coupe with new heads. IF someone is interested, I will get and post pics in the for sale section.

rust? how many miles? btw they didn't make sherwoods in 91, its geneva green auto i'm guesing? where they type1 heads?

Ah ok, geneva then. Im not sure about the mileage. It says 230,000 but the guy gave me an extra cluster that had 150,000, as well as a new still in box 91-92 factory temp gauge, so it may only have 150,000 and they just swapped the gauge cluster. id find out if anyone were seriously interested.

yes they were type I heads, surfaced/ new valve stem seals/ valves reground/ have reciept still for work.

As mentioned its 100% rust free and unfortunately an auto. I think ive got a couple pics here let me try to find them and post real quick.

Here are some pics. I didnt take these pics to try to sell it, I took them to highlight a couple problems. THERE IS NO PICTURE OF THE DRIVER SEAT. It has one small tear in it that is currently being resewn as we speak.

Honestly, I want to say it must really have 150,000 miles to be in this nice of shape.


Heres the front. The white in the pic is the clouds reflecting off the hood, it was such a bright day i couldnt even see my phone screen so thats another reason for the pics


Here are the two minor paint spots mentioned. First the roof


Second, the driver door. The door is perfectly straight (as is the entire body) but it has a rub spot on it


Here it is from the good side. This is right at the corner of a busy intersection so getting pics was tough


Here is the climate control, its auto and it blows COLD.

This thing is minty. Owner wants $3500 for it but for a friend of mine (ie forum member) they would go down to $3K.

nice, yea. $3500 is a good price for it.

only thing i find weird is that the interior does look as yellow as other 91-92 typeF's i've seen. maybe its just the pictures.

hmm, looks the same as (whats left) of the yellow in my 92, but thats pretty much just shreds

I may get around to posting this in the for sale section, maybe not. Id like to see it go to a legend lover tho. Id buy it myself if i could afford any more cars Anyway, like I said, I could talk them down to $3,000 so if any forum member is interested that leaves them $500 for a plane ticket. If anyone is (seriously) interested, ill go take more pics and find out about the mileage thing, so just shoot me a PM.
