well, after 3+ months, i finally got around to try this again. i followed OLD_HATCH's instruction about connecting the RED/BLUE to the RED/BLACK wire and it worked. everything works as if the fog is totally independent of the headlight and the light switch lights up as desired. thanks...OLD_HATCH!

the wiring is completely different. The 2nd gen legend foglights are an accessory and have their own wiring

The 1st gen RL lights are stock and the wiring for them is integrated into the cars wiring.

Also the wiring colors are different.

I'm goiong to give this a shot this weekend, but I'd like to use HID's for my fogs.
Anybody have any idea what bulb I should/am supposed to buy?
