Exclamation Please help. just bought 2006 tl rims!!!!

hey everyone so i just bought 4 2006 acura tl wheels with no tires. so here are a couple of things i need to know. i know i need to bore them to fit my coupe but what is the stock hub bore of the 06 tl rims? and what tire size can i put on them so they wont rub. the current tires i have on my car are 225/60/16 they are my snow tires but they dont rub at all except if i take a corner really sharp and fast. but the summer tires i have are 225/50/16 and they are perfect no rubbing or an trouble at all. i just need to know what tires i need to put on them. the rims are 17x8 and have +45 offset. i dont have the money to get my fenders rolled or anything like that i just want to by the bit to bore them and by tires. i have all stock suspension and nothing special done to my car. i have a 1995 LS coupe just to make eveything easier. please help me out i want to do these wheels right so if you could help me out that would be great!!!!

IIRC the TL wheels are a hub bore of 64.1mm and you will need a hub bore size of 70.1. You will need to bore from the back side of the wheel and leave space so that the 64.1mm center cap will still fit.

Tire sizes that will fit that wheel and offset are 225/45/17 or 215/45/17

okay so those are 17" right?

most 5 bolt Honda's including these are 64.1mm you need 70.1mm
Now your running highly likely +55 off set which is perfect just run the OE tire setup

Incorrect, he stated that they are 17x8 +45 which would require a 215/45 or a 225/45, the 225/45 may rub when lowered, the 215/45 will not

No, you are running a different offset with 16's. Are you running the stock GS wheels? If so you could run the stock size of 215/55/16, or you can run a number of different sizes. 225/55/16, 195/65/16, 195/60/16. Personally I would run a 215/55/16 or a 225/55/16.

Neither of those. 215/55, 225/50, 225/55 will fit fine. The offset of the GS wheel can handle those tire sizes because its a +65 offset giving you more back space clearance.
