Default New toy: 1992 Integra GS-R

Snagged this bad boy last Friday in Seattle and brought it home.

236,000 miles all stock. Needs some work but it's a decent runner.

Love the 8,000 RPM redline. 1.7 liter VTEC.

Long blog write-up with video here.

Joining the other rides. I need a "family photo" now that this picture is outdated (missing the GS and the Teg).

Teggy will show much better without front license plate and bracket on it.

Thank you! This one took me awhile to find but these Integras are near impossible to track down in stock condition. Unfortunately I've discovered a few issues with this one mechanically. It failed emissions test on Wednesday, it has a few leaks, and the ABS light is on. But it runs and drives well and has cold a/c so I can't complain for it being 24 years old!

Thanks Alan! The color is very 90's but pretty striking and a lot more exciting than a lot of shades showing up on new cars today.

Thanks Rich, yes it's a blast! Feels like a little go-kart when driven in comparison the Legend or even the Vigor. Visibility is amazing. It always catches me by surprise how thin the A-pillars were on 90's cars before everything started getting a dozen built-in airbags.

Yep, plate already off but I need the "plugs" that fill the holes there now!

Hi Penny, you guessed it. Definitely a stick. As a matter of fact, all 6 Acuras I have right now are sticks. I don't want to have it any other way. Hope you're doing well!

Haha, yep. Already have the Vigor. As a matter of fact, tomorrow (4th of July) is the one year anniversary of the day I bought it in Denver, CO and drove it home to Phoenix. I've only put on a couple thousand miles. Yesterday I did a photoshoot with the Vigor and Integra to see how close the colors "Arcadia Green" and "Aztec Green" are. Not too different.

Love it! And insanely envious of you stable lol!

Saw on your blog those rpms at 70...makes me feel a little better about my G1s gearing I guess lol (3k at 70). Congrats!

My wife told me to stay up to date too should you ever want to sell that Vigor (she loves the color). No way I'm arguing with that directive!
