I did a little searching and mostly found G2 info. I need to replace my motor mounts. I trust you guys - what do you think is the best course of action while saving as much money as possible during the purchase? As for installation...I've got that covered.

um..... you could check out rockauto.com for motor mounts to compare the prices to other places you could get it from. I'm not sure about motor mounts, but I've been lucky with the prices of other things from there.

After a quick look, it seems that they are only about $10 more from Delray Acura than aftermarket replacements from Autozone....I'd go there

Thanks for the input, guys. I'm still building my resource list, so I still have noob questions
![]() Thanks for the compliments...the grey color is the same as the STi from 2006, IIRC. It still needs to be wet sanded and polished though.

I'm trying to slowly get my car some much needed TLC. Yesterday a friend helped put on new rotors and pads, an oil and filter change, spark plug change and a tranny fluid change. I'm trying to find a tranny filter change DIY...anyone? I just haven't had time. I did find the solenoid cleaning DIY though...that's probably next, before the motor mount fix.

Yes indeed, a nice looking coupe for sure.
Just take your time and be sure to do it right the first time around. It saves a lot of time later on if you do it right the first time... I am speaking from experience ![]() The G1 transmission does not have a filter however you could put an inline filter on one of the oil cooler hoses from the transmission. There is a bit of discussion about it in this thread: http://forums.acuralegend.org/t-serv...diy-t1231.html Good luck with it all.
