Dude. Duuuude. You've been holding out on us. This is such an incredible build, I know it took a long time.
You covered everything from engine to tranny to interior to electrical, the build covered nearly every part of the car. The attention to detail on every single part was amazing. The view of how you wanted to look (how often does a clean base model chassis come along?) and the patience to take your time to do everything right is also amazing. You = repped. My mind = blown. All those pictures BAM just like that. I've been wanting to see this car too, hopefully you could bring it out sometime. |

Sweet build! I like that you spent the time to chop out the sound deadener. That's quite the job in itself. Didn't know that KA9 rear seats fit. That looks nice. And that's one hell of a wiring job. I'm jealous of your sunroof-less roof.
One question: You don't like the 91-92 subframe because of the hydraulic mounts and the ability to poly the newer ones? I'm just the opposite, I like the extra engine bay space from the older ones. One more question: Why don't you go back to the track without those seats, interior and extra weight?

You are correct on my preference for the sub-frame because of the motor mounts. I'm not a big fan of having those hydro mounts up front, from experience they seem to be fairly weak. oh man if I were to fully strip out my interior and go back to the track I bet I could run really low 14's if not high 13's lol, depending as well on the weather conditions, but that being said I wanted to strictly run in it in true daily driven fashion.

great thread man, definitely admire all the work you've put in! for the backseat, was it a lot of modification or not too bad? What RL year range did those come out of? The backseat seem like an equal swap to me but I love that armrest and, what is that, a locking access door for the trunk (or my pipe dream, a drink cooler! lol)? do you think just the armrest and trunk access could be removed from an RL backseat and installed into a Legend backseat? rep'd for sure!
