Default Introducing My '94 LS 6MT Project, Nearly Done

Hello folks, i've been lurking on here for quite some time and posting on occasion. Really enjoying how close this community is with each other, the other forums i'm a part don't compare

So, please give me a nice WELCOME if you don't mind. Glad to be part of the family.

Details on the coupe:

I purchased on December 21st, 2012. The day the world was supposed to come to an end. Luckily, the coupe survived.

Notorious rear fender rust on both sides
Front bumper held on by zip ties/badly damaged and cracked.
Mustang wheels?? Not really sure...mustang on the center caps.
AWFUL faded paint with tons of salt caked on.

The day I picked her up. Drove from DFW with the trailer up to Kansas City, 1 day round trip. The only issue during the drive back, the differential on the truck pretty much blew up...able to limp it home fortunately.

CHECK OUT MY KICK-ASS SEATS

Better now

I did some 3G TL wheels in gunmetal, not sure if I like them or not. Haven't mounted them up yet.

Had to do a gasket job, she was puking oil onto the ground, into the spark plug chambers, and other areas. Luckily, the head gasket is perfect with no signs of a BHG or SHG. Cleaned the EGR as well, wasn't too dirty.

To the shop she goes...

Did anyone catch the rice vented fenders? Good thing I found these.

But they required some work, very beat up.

Anyone done a black roof before?

Some primer action:

Almost ready for the reveal...

More to come...thanks for looking.

Welcome to the fam!

Actually Blake those Sarona fenders were quite popular and rather expensive back in the day. Glad to see you've gone serious on the Honda cancer therapy. I'm liking the interior color choice also. I'll be watching.

Signed,

The Mad Scientist!

Looks like the Yogi Bear family got to the front seats.

Can't wait for the next set of pictures to be posted.

I guess I shouldn't have used them for target practice.

Kidding! I think they are laying around at the shop somewhere.

It looks like a nice restoration you have going on there. I can't wait to see the final product. Are you going a complete 2 tone theme for the interior or is that only for the seats?
