Thanks, I may get ahold of you for that here soon. How much would you want for it?

And thanks for the suggestions on the alternator.. It has seemed to have magically stopped doing what I was explaining with the battery light. I noticed it does it more with the headlights on. I disconnected the antenna motor cause it was not working properly anyway, and now I can leave the battery hooked up overnight and it fires up the next morning. Hooked up the voltage tester in series with the battery and it still is drawing .09 V with everything off. Only way I can get it lower is by pulling the clock fuse. But it isn't seeming to be draining the battery so...

There are a couple legends at a junkyard near me that I may try and pull some stuff off (corner headlights, maybe front fender,). I'll be slowly giving updates as I work on it!

Quick question guys... if I'm looking at an '87 Legend Coupe for scraps, do exterior pieces (front fenders, head/corner lights, trim etc) fit on a '90?

I am under the impression they do, but please let me know before I go pay $$ at a scrap yard and come home to find out they don't !

Awesome! Thanks.
Just found the old thread about swapping the grills since they are different from '87 to '90. But shouldn't be too big an issue. Its mostly that left front fender I really need replaced.

I just need to either:
A. Convince the guy to sell me individual parts (he's reluctant to do), or
B. Buy the whole car for $300 (obviously doesn't run) and pull the parts I need off then junk it. (Id rather not do this, but it may make the most sense financially)

Well individual parts may be your best bet if you can swing it.... not much demand for g1 part outs these days.

That being said, what's the interior color on the junk car?

Its tan, but the guy said it was in really bad shape, so probably not much I can take, maybe the driver seat motor, cause that's another thing in mine that needs replacing.

Yeah, I'm just growing impatient cause there's NOTHING around in terms of junk yard pulling!! These coupes are harder to come by I'm noticing. Sedan parts everywhere!!

If youve got room to store it, for $300 it may be worth having the extra parts around in bulk

I'm not sure abut the size on the fogs. Looks like a gem in the rough. Coupes are hard to find things that why I bought a whole parts car that's in good shape besides the motor and interior.

Yes that's what I'm finding out. G1 sedans GALORE at the junk yards, but coupes... not so much. Opted to not buy the parts car cause I did find one at a local junk yard that I pulled parts from yesterday, thankfully! Got the driver fender (currently Florence blue, so needs to get painted phoenix red), some trim pieces and the right corner light. Still looking for the left corner light if anyone has one laying around.

Here are a few pictures of a good wash, clay bar and wax. Also got some OEM foglights I got mounted up tonight. Pretty excited about those. Just need to get that fender painted and put on there and it'll be looking really nice... on the outside that is. The inside is a whole other venture. But one little piece at a time!
Also degreased the engine bay (ill get photos of that soon). Wow what a difference that made. Not much work at all either.
