So another place that indeed does have the capabilites said it would cost what I said it would cost per camshaft ($1000) plus the R&D on top of that of like $3000-5000.
So in total I would be investing around $23000+ and not even have a mark up lol So yeah camshafts are a no deal and you can risk a hardgrind. |

Have you tried Delta Cams in Oregon?
They will do whatever cam angle for you based on a cam profile from a well known manufacturer... the repair and do weld/regrinds. I was actually going to have them do Tomei 272 styles on my RL before I kind of ran out of energy for the car. They're still in business from what I can tell. Yes they were a no go on custom blanks. I may use them to hardweld a set. My main focus is a proper camshaft for my 3.5. Not to have a lope or scream high rpms, just to have it function as if it was a true 3.5 Type 2.
