Ok, so from what I've gathered so far is that CAI can cause hydrolock, which SRI can pervent.
I live in Canada and it gets pretty damn crazy around here, would there be a risk of hydrolock from sucking up falling snow? Last edited by derpderp; 11-09-2009 at 02:48 AM. |

The chances of hydrolock from snow are extremely minimal.

This Thread is old, But thought i would share a item that helps in both worlds( just not puddles Haha) I read up on some things to help keep water from my cai (mine is located in the same place, front driver bumper) well i found this
http://www.autoanything.com/air-filt...FUiUfgodyEkAMw I tried it before i put it on cause i felt iffy about it.... It worked damn good put your hand in it, put it under the sink and no water comes threw so rain/splashes wont hurt. truly a must i'd say. |
