advice for new stereo
I have an '88 Legend Coupe LS with original Bose radio/cassette system. The rear speakers have started to act up, so I must determine whether to repair amps or replace with new system. If new system I would want a HD radio/cd unit, with Sirius/XM capability, and new speakers. Any recommendations as to brands and models? Many thanks.

There's a lot of stereo brands out there that are almost similar to each other. But a lot of people prefer Pioneer. The Bose system actually sounds a lot better than the aftermarket stereos. If you can, you should get it repaired. But if you can't get it repaired, look into Pioneer.

Thanks a lot. I had them repaired by Willman's many years ago, but getting too old (68) to crawl around detaching and re-installing speakers. I think I may have found a local (Alex. Va) shop that can repair the amps. If not, I'll audition a Pioneer system.
