save the money for important thigns

wait til you can hook the car up without causing damage to your well being, then go about modifying it.

takes longer, but is overall the way to do it, IMHO

BTW, it's 7am, I gotta get up to go running!

Lol I've been through this phase many times. The "oh i'll just do one mod every summer" doesn't work. Look at where I'm stuck now. Lol!!

D'oh I forgot about the time difference! You wake up when I'm just about going to sleep haha. My sleeping schedule fail!!

I'm not getting rid of it....... more like I can't. It holds too much sentimental value to me, especially living through that one accident where that stupid chinese woman who couldn't speak a lick of english T-boned me going nearly 50mph when I was going 10. I just don't know if I really want to spend the money modding it.

far be it from me to put anyone's goals asunder, but I was concerned about a full body kit for you! After my accident where i lost my Legend 12grand down the hole with only a 2500 dollar payout, I don't want to put too much custom stuff on my car and daily drive it unless it's covered on insurance.

I would kill someone if they hit my car with a 2000 dollar custom designed body kit

i wouldn't even want to drive the car

No but I know what you mean. I personally plan on keeping this car until it either gives out or gets totaled like my previous car.

If you feel that your going to get your moneys worth as far as enjoyment then go ahead. Then again a clean stock car has a certain attraction to it as well.

On a side note the insurance thing is something that we all need to look at when spending gobs of cash. I personally have state farm and they are pretty good about it. As longas I have receipts they will cover whats damaged. Oe example is that here in FL a couple of yours back we were having hurricanes like every weekend almost. Well my old accord was damaged in one of them and racked up over 3 grand worth in damages. Book value around that time was prob around 1800 dollars for it. The guy took pictures of everything and sked me about how much money everything was worth and I didnt even have to bust out my many years of receipts. Regardless I still need to have that car appraised so that the insurane policy can reflect it.

Food for thought for anyone who doesnt want to lose their investment.
