That luge trail looks super fun too. High speed, mellow lines. Good times. I saw a few spots where I might deviate from the trail for some more excitement.

2/3 of the 9mile loop is nothing but non-stop climbing, not too steep just technical

...though the last 1/4 mile was awesome!

I'll be sure to check out the magazine, good times indeed Tommy.

Oh I don't pedal up hills. I push up hills, rest at the top. Then get to the bottom as fast as possible. My main trail was 25 minute walk, 3 minutes ride down, rinse, repeat.

^ Many moons ago, got THIS same exact light via Amazon from a local distributor.

Also noticed they're half the price now since I bought mine

Cool thread- I ride with a few cyclist friends all the time during the winter. Mostly Mtn biking in some local trails. Makes the winter a little less dull and keeps some fitness up.

^ I know exactly what you're saying braduhh ...THIS particular headlight got my vote at first!

Anyways, we didn't do any night riding yesterday; due recent mountain lion sightings.

We got up as far as Mt Baldy foothills, top of La Verne - Marshall Canyon.

Unsatisfactory tell-tale signs
-sun setting
-few dears spotting
-creeks along the trails

We swiftly (and safely) got out of there.

DIRTY_UP my MTB a wee bit, going through them creeks
