Default Built an intake.

I got bord on my lunch break and decided to build an intake for the Legend. Surprisingly it raised my MPG significantly! Got out for under $100 before my discount.

Gotta love the runmble sound the intake makes when full throttle. Also, if you hold it at a certain angle, you can make it whistle.

Sounds so good! Thinking about using the stock resonator valve to make an active cold air intake.

I would have already built it if I didn't have to remove the bumper lol. My idea is to have the valve open when I put it in sport mode. Otherwise it will just draw air from the engine bay like stock.

What is this ''sport'' mode? I haven't found that button in my car yet.

Why not just make a regular cold-air instead of reinventing the wheel? As long as your fender liners are in good condition you will be fine in the rain.

Or do what myself and a few others did and relocate your battery then put the intake there.

Only on the auto lol. It's just a daily car, I have a fun car as well. Not much re-inventing the wheel. The valve is already there, just need to move some wireing. The nice thing will be having a real direct wind cold air, or a standard short ram. May put a smaller battery in the future, but definitely not putting it in the trunk.

Why wouldn't you put the battery in the trunk? If not the trunk where would you relocate the battery to? And is it really that simple to the point where you just bought a new air intake and took out the old air intake and put the new one in or is there more to it?

That's about as simple as it gets. Just have to make sure to have a spot for the PCV.
