N/A performance enhancements.

Recently I bought a first generation Acura RL and I?ve been searching for aftermarket support for the vehicle but it?s like finding fish in the Sahara desert. So I?ve come here to see if anyone knows of any upgrades that would produce more torque and possibly hp for the car. I plan on swapping out and putting the 6 speed transmission in it for better gearing. I?ve heard some things about swapping air manifolds, and performance chips but is it worth the investment? Also how do yall feel about long tube headers and/or nitrous kits? Lastly has there been any record of anyone modifying the compression ratios, if so would the engine hold up against the hp increase?

It’s a rl if you can find them OBX headers for a legend fit, a legend intake will work and you can make it into a cold air. And build yourself an exhaust 2.5” back.
After that stop. It’s not worth the headache or money to build the motor or swap a manual in. Just buy another car.

If you want mods I sell and make most of them. You can bolt on a wet nitrous kit that’s about it, after 350whp the motors explode

my motor is built to handle 1200hp lol a stock one will blow up at 350whp ask abe lol.

I bought my motor from DV8, sold the heads/intake manifold and built my
Own. Idk what the secret is? I?ve told that a bunch, let?s not forget fabbed the turbo kit, built custom parts to push it past the limits he found lol

Gotcha, this is my daily driver anyways, I just don't enjoy being in a 4120 pound car (including my self) with only 225 hp. So 300-320 hp would be perfect for me. But with that being said what does your mods consist of, and what's the difficulties with manual swapping other than the ecu.

tuning a RL is the issue, theres no tuning really available for it, and trust me no one will do it lol. Thats why theres only one manually swapped RL in the world lol.

for mods bring me some cash I'll get you headers, y pipe and a cat delete. then build a 2.5" exhaust add a intake from ebay, then a wet nitrous kit and aluminum pullies. bam done.

to go into more stuff like type 2 cams, type 2 intake manifold, injectors/fuel rails/FPR I have all the parts for that, but i install all that and more on RL motors in legends when were we can do tuning etc.
