FS: NJ 1991 L Sedan -- Heavily modified -- $3800
I'm putting this car in to the CARS program if I can't sell it in time. I spent several years working on her and have quite a few of modifications. First off, she's a 1991 Acura Legend L with 192k miles on the chassis. Frost white with blue interior.
The car has been in my family for 18 years, I am technically the 2nd owner. I have the history of the car here: 1991 Acura Legend Mod List I have a visual history of the modifications done to the car here: Nick's Car Gallery Engine Mods: * RM Racing Intake * Ported and Polished Heads, Intake Manifold and Exhaust Manifolds * C32A1 Type II Cams, valves, springs, and rocker arm assembly modified to work in Type I heads. * Type II Intake Manfiold * Bayou Performance Stage II Chip (Formally Dinan) * Walbro 255LPH High Performance fuel pump * Stromung Exhaust Transmission Mods: * Pro-Torque High-Stall Torque Converter * Level 10 Performance Stage 3 Auto Transmission Rebuild * B&M 8"x10"x1.75" Transmission Cooler Suspension Mods: * Koni Struts (1" Drop) * Eibach Springs Pro Kit (1" drop) * Ingalls Camber Kit (Front only) * KMS Billet Aluminum Strut Bar * Addco 7/8" solid rear sway bar * Brembo Cross-Drilled rotors * Exel Ennio 17" Hyperblack Rims Show Mods: * Katskins custom Two-tone Leather * Ford Engine Blue painted calipers * Wire Mesh Grill * 35% Black tint all around * "Legend" Aluminum Door Sills * APC Clear Corner Lenses * APC Clear Bumper Lenses * 4G Silver Faced Reverse Indiglo Guages * Brushed Alluminum Pedals * Body painted front/rear lower spoilers and side skirts Audio Mods: * Pioneer DEH7400MP Headunit * Legacy 160 watt 4channel amplifier The engine was overhauled at 180k miles. The top-end was completely rebuilt. I ported and polished the intake manifold, exhaust manifolds and heads. The heads are Type I with Type II cams and oversized intake valves, all new. The rocker arm assemblies were rebuilt from Type II heads. The exhaust manifolds are modified Type I to work with the Type II intake manifold. The type II intake manifold was internally ported and rebuilt. The transmission blew out at 164k miles and was rebuilt with a stage 3 Level 10 kit and a Pro Torque high stall torque converter was installed. I installed a Katskinz leather kit in the car myself in late 2001. The car needs new front ball joints and lower control arm bushings, I have and will include the parts for this. She has some minor rust around the windshield and rear fenders. I have Exel Enio 17" rims on her, but one has a flat tire. I'll put the two front rims in the trunk, was in the spare well and one in the trunk itself and include two stock 15" Acura rims on front. Transmission mounts will also need to be replaced with after market stronger mounts as the current ones are torn. The car is perfectly drivable at this time and I have been driving it daily. I am looking to sell this as quickly as possible before the car is ready to be submitted to the governments CARS programs. Please feel free to PM me or e-mail me at nick at declario dot com. I am looking for $3800 OBO and a good home for her. |

Man you should really start trading people for stock parts and putting stock parts on your car. I couldn't send a modded car to the crusher

I started pulling stuff off already. However, I've had no takers on the interior and I don't have the time to do an engine swap. I will take a few more things off of her if the end result is the CARS program...

The car runs fine, aside from what I mentioned about the torn transmission mounts and front ball joints. I am selling the car mostly because I turned it in to a hobby car and lost my daily driver. However, I was, before loosing my daily driver, getting ready to sell my Legend anyway as life changes and it's time to move on. I don't have the time to work on her or properly maintain her.

seems like u got much more invested then the 3500 you'll get from CARS, and you'll still be paying a payment monthly while u got a perfectly running car.
also i kno this is a big one for anything intersted but u got any receipts to proof some of the work done?

As far as receipts. I have a ton of stuff I'd have to dig though. If I don't have receipts. I have pictures of everything done in my gallery. That gallery documents pretty much everything I've done. |
