Default Steering wheel options

We all know the NSX wheel will fit, but how about the RL wheel? I was checking out the ATL meet thread, when I came upon this pic of an RL (1998ish, I think):

Looks like our wheel, so it should be a direct replacement. Least I'm hoping so.

Then I was looking around eBay and came upon this, from a 98 RL for add'l confirmation:

This auction was for ~$100 shipped, which is a *lot* less than having them professionally rewrapped.

Anything can be made to fit, as I will soon demonstrate.

Just spend the ~$300, have brand new wheel leather, and feel like your car just stepped back in time. If you have short nails and don't rub on the leather like you're jerking off, it should last another decade.

I tried an early RL wheel on my car once, it was very nearly identical, except that the Legend steering column shaft was too small in diameter to fit the RL wheel correctly.

This brings a tear to my eye, your coupe was always one of my favorites.

As for steering wheels, I personally liked the NSX steering wheel alex had on his coupe. Not sure what he needed to do to make everything work, maybe he will chime in.

that RL wheel looks very much like the orig legend wheel. NSX wheel looks pretty good on a legend and you get approx 1.5" less diameter.
