So did you paint your carbon fiber exterior pieces? Takes a real man to drop that kind of cash on CF then paint it to match the exterior! Ive never been a fan of having the hood a different color personally.

+1, painted CF all the way.

Obviously it's a personal preference, but there will be no CF appearance anywhere on a car I own.

Been awhile since I touched on this thread....

One of my first interior mods was to get some desperately needed floormats. I picked up some Hrants w/blue embroidery.

All Legends need a good stereo system, right? I didn't want to be any different. I did not, however, want to have a trunk full of stuff that's easy to steal. I wanted something simple, and didn't feel the need to have a bunch of speakers. I spent several weeks looking for small parts to fit my needs. I ended up with:

-1 Kicker 12SL7
-a set of Focal shallow mount 6.5s
-Image Dynamic horns
-a Pioneer EQ
-2 Audison LRX series amps
-a Pioneer headunit
-a LOT of Raammat

I gutted the car for the Raammat install:

The next thing that needed tackling was the sub enclosure. Once again the requirements: small, light box; stealthy, different.

A little plexiglas was in order, b/c I wanted a little show. I picked up a 60" long, 1" thick sheet on eBay. My friend Richard and I, first time builders, fabricated the box around the dimensions of the plexiglas and the sub. After a couple tries, we got the sides measured and cut, then the top, then the glass "fit" in place. If you see how the box is constructed, it's not conventional in the least, but it works. I wanted a stronger floor panel as well, so I found a guy that made the floor out of aluminum, the bottom of which is cross-braced. How strong? I can now sit/stand in my trunk w/out having to worry about the floor falling through. I also had him fab up a beauty board to "frame" the sub.

I covered the front of the box w/a roll of vinyl I picked up:

And here are the results. I took a piece of 3/4" MDF and cut it so that I could fabricate a 1 piece panel to hide the box. After covering it in automotive carpet, I achieved all my objectives in building out the trunk.

The next step was where to mount all of it and keep everything looking stealth, minus the aftermarket headunit. Originally, I planned to mount the amps here:

That changed the moment I picked up the Acura CL seats. I had a sneaking suspicious that with some modification, they woud fit inside the rear console, and I was correct. Here's the thread I originally posted about this little project, which I'll update as it progresses, but here are the pics pretty much completed with a piece of plexiglas covering things.
