DIY: 3.5 Hybrid Type 2 AT Swap

The type 2 springs if i recall are a swap into the RL heads.

The type 2 valves work aswell, but they need a valve job on the heads to fit (you would do this anyways to properly seat them).

As for upgrading springs you can use comp cams springs part number 937-16

for the upgraded supertech valves, I have the last 2 sets because I paid the patent fee and had 50 intake/50 exhaust valves made. It was 1100 for a full set but till this monday I have them at 1000 bucks shipped just because I want to get the money back in my hands.

just incase seraph orion confused you on the valves, those are J series valves on supertech's site, not the proper C series valves.

Guys, I was successful in swapping the 3.2 for a 3.5 and the car running. I did not swap the ECU was that mandatory?

No you keep using the 3.2 ECU. RLs (3.5s) have a different system that isn't compliant with Legends. Now if only you could get a "tuned" chip for your 3.5. I hear in dark corners of the community those (tuned/chipped ECUs) may yet again become a possibility.
