Default thermostat housing

Does anyone have a diy for replacing the thermostat housing?? I want replace that specific part brand new??..

It's only 2 bolts. Might ad well swap the thermostat while you have it open.

3 bolts including the ground that's attached to it. I use a 1/4" 10mm socket and a 3" extension to remove the housing bolts.

I had to do mine, the O-ring was shot. Had to remove the intake manifold, followed the headgasket DIY. Did a whole bunch of stuff while I was at it.

Im refering to the other part of the thermostat housing the one that sits by the intake manifold

It's 2 12mm bolt holding the housing to the water pump
