Anyone needing a LOW MILEAGE Type II automatic transmission?
Know of anyone looking for a Type II automatic transmission? 117,901.2 miles on it. We pulled the engine and transmission out yesterday. Left it in the yard and it is NOT covered up and MORE RAIN forecast from Cristobal supposed to be coming.

 Your input basically is telling me the decision to "leave it behind" was right.  Today just like this past weekend the "false weather prophets" have gotten the forecast WRONG!! It is 90 degrees with an 11% chance of rain that drops to just 3 % here in a couple of hours. It is gorgeous sunny outside and I have seen a drop of rain nor see any thunderstorms on the current forecast or horizon.

Hah so I was back at the yard yesterday (getting robbed for another $100) and guess what I saw sitting outside looking all lonely and depressed?
Yep you got it this same transmission sitting there exposed and abandoned to the weather.  It likely got ANOTHER BIG SOAKING yesterday as we had pop up showers again and I live about 2 or so miles away from the Pull-A-Part yard.
