May 20, 2021 - So a year prior I was initially offered to purchase body kit but I passed on it as I was going a different route. It was then posted on FB group but it seemed like noone bought. I asked if anyone picked it up and current condition, and decided I needed to save this car from further sitting. Negotiated further and made it happen. Tesuka-San, the owner and Kazu-San started parting out. I got kit along with few other goodies plus wheels. Luckily I have a friend who owns a forwarding company to help facilitate the logistics side. Unfortnunately shipping prices just recently went up, but I did get a decent price to get it stateside even with few challenges we had. Now it was a waiting game. Here's pic when car was in it's prime as a remembrance of a great build. Thanks to my Japan fam and KJ at My Japan Direct for making this happen. Your parts will live on, Tesuka-San. |

July 2021 I started piecing together a few items I've been sitting on. The Beta JDM front center console was getting an ebrake mod from Jimmy.
Few ideas to make some sort of matching burlwood cupholder inside the JDM console came to mind, but I wanted to match my front vip table. Still in progress... Couple more old vintage carmate items. Tissue box and clock Been sitting on this one for a bit, but I wanted my friend who works with wood to make a real burlwood cluster guage surround, inspired by the mugen cluster. |

Added a fresh door seal that came off an Australian RHD car. Thanks my dude out there. July 2021 - KA5 JDM cig lighter, like I've seen a few guys do. Such a nice touch. |

Aug. 5 - Sept. 3, 2021 - Had Sensei.6 shop fix 1 bent wheel and replace 2 lips. Changed out hardware to gold. Currently trying to remove some of the oxidation in the windows of the wheel. 0000 steelwool doing a pretty decent job handling that. Will still need to polish. NALM is creeping up and I'm afraid I won't finish everything I want... Last edited by returnoftheack; 09-03-2021 at 10:21 AM. |

Why did that car(which I do in fact remember) end up sitting and parted out? I know Japan is different and all but dang. Glad you saved some stuff.
No worries man, my car ain't gonna be finished right AT all IF I can even get it there. So just get done what you can.
