Let's kick off the New Year's right with a Legend meet in the Ocala/Tampa area

I'm more than willing to host a cook-out and we could do a meet-up/photo shoot at Don Garlits Drag Racing Musuem or various other places in the area.
New Year's day is on Sunday so some people may have Monday off for a 3 day
weekend. Alabama, N.C. and Georgia people welcome.

Post up with ideas and/or interest.

MEET PLANS

Date & Time Sunday, New Year's Day (that would be Jan. 1), 2012 at 1:00 p.m.

Location Don Garlit's Car and Drag Race Museum, 13700 SW 16 th. Ave., Ocala, Fl. 34473. I-75 at Exit #341.

Plans Meet up at DG's. Hang there until about 3:00. Drive to nearby photo shoot location. Cook-out afterwards at
my place for those interested.

Accomadations Plenty of easy access hotels on I-75. At Exit 314, Microtel is probably the best bet w/ free breakfast.
On-line rate of $63.74 + tax on advanced reservations. It's the Bushnell Microtel if looking up on-line.
Closest to my house and only 12 miles from DG. Walmart, McDonalds, Beef O'Brady's and other businesses
at that exit.

Drive the coupe, bring the GS wheels for my car wants them.

I've been there before, will probably be there again.

I need to get some custom Southeast Legends stickers made up for us.

Waiting for a rough itinerary from Action Jackson on this meet.

Clearwater only 70 miles or so from the the OP's compound.
