Welcome sir!!! Enjoy the experience and the information on this site blows me away. Granted, many times it is really challenging to find the proper thread to find your answers, but have patience, and it'll land for you. Also, there are 2 active FB sites as Doug mentioned above you can check out. Welcome again!

I didn't know Legends were sold in India. I'll have to ask my "Bombay Buddy" Roland. I would have thought he would have said something in all the times we rode together in mine back 10 or so years ago.

Welcome. Find a local upholstery shop and get a quote. I'm having a panel replaced on the driver seat in my 1994 Vigor for $250. All depends on whether you go "real" leather vs. vinyl, or even explore options like changing it to cloth. Katzkin & LeatherSeats.com offer kits for our cars. Iggees makes great seat covers if you decide to just do that for now. Good luck!

Hi!
Good morning!
I bought a 1995 Acura Legend for my son about three years ago. The car is just now at 148,000 miles. I love this car. It belonged to a friend of mine and he was on the fence about selling but luckily, he crossed the fence and sold it to me. My son's previous car was my 1997 Accord which made it to 400K before needing too much work to go on (has since been resurrected by a mechanic friend who purchased it from me for a small sum). I had always wanted that Acura so I bought it for my son. He takes good care of it. In the town where I live, and in the surrounding areas, it is the ONLY ONE I have seen on the road. We are getting ready to go on a trip and believe you me I have that thing in the garage with my Honda Odyssey. Gotta keep it safe! I just thought I'd say hi! I recently took a pic of both of our cars in the garage (it was a feat to clean the garage to fit his Acura and my Odyssey AND be able to get in and out of both LOL). I was afraid someone might steal his Acura. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. He always lets me borrow it when I need to have maintenance or work done on my Odyssey and sometimes I just don't want to give it back! I'm in East Tennessee, USA. I will NEVER get rid of this Acura. I mean, it's my son's car. Even the friend I bought it from wants it back. Ha! |

Welcome Paul's Mom! These Legends are what the pinnacle of Honda and Acura were in the 1990s. They DO NOT make them like this anymore. Even when spending a small fortune and the challenges of finding certain necessary parts for them they just have that "something" factor to them that makes you just smile and enjoy them. I have both a 1994 GS sedan (HIGHLY MODIFIED) and a pretty much stock 1993 LS coupe. Trust me EVERYONE pretty much who has been a part of this community has REGRETTED not having a Legend anymore after leaving them for something else. I've had some cars IN ADDITION to my Legend but coming up on 24 years of ownership of my sedan these just hold a special place. Keep enjoying that ride OH and don't rub it in on your neighbor who regrets selling it too much!
