Florida New Year's Eve Meet (Dec.31,17) in Central Fl.
Florida New Year's Eve meet on Sunday, Dec. 31,2017. Starts at 12:30 pm. at Page's Root Beer in Inverness.Heading out from LegendLand around 3:00 for a photo shoot/country drive, go-carting on a fast track and then some dinner at a restaurant TBD. Come enjoy some warm Florida weather in your Legend. Numerous hotels in the area for overniters/weekenders. More info. to follow. Mark your calendars.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE 12:30-1:30 Meet at Paige's Root Beer CASH ONLY, 859 US 41 S., Inverness. 1:30- 3:00 Fast outdoor Go-carts (bring a helmet if you have one). Located at I-75 and SR 48. Exit 314. NW corner by Sonny's B-Que. 3:00- 5:00 Swap meet at LegendLand 5:00- 6:00 Cocktail (or soft drink) Hour 6:00- 7:30 Dinner-location TBD. Local Hotels are the Central Hotel in Inverness and Micro-Tel in Bushnell ( right off of I-75). They do get filled that time of year so if you think you are going to attend and want a hotel room, reserve now.

 Well I'm definitely going to miss this one as I'll be in Texas the end of December and beginning of January.  So if any of the Texas bretheren read this expect me to be hitting you up!    The biggest challenge is deciding which Acura to take.  It is looking like the 2010 TL for now just for luggage space as I may be playing UPS for family now in the Lone Star State.   I also should hopefully have both the coupe and sedan at near 100% efficiency and may need to decide which one is more deserving of an EPIC roadtrip 'cause that's how I do Texas when rolling solo Mad Scientist style!

Last I heard we are thinking of doing a "mini meet" in the Dallas metro area this same time!
The coupe appears to be getting the nod for my "Texas Rodeo Trip" (similar to the San Antonio Spurs).
