Default foglight tcs switch and foglight edm switch to aftermarket lights

hey guys i thought i would make a diy today since i didnt see any for this on the site.

tools required:
wire cutter
soldering iron
shrink wrap
lighter/heat gun
small flat screw driver (for glasses)
flat screw driver and phillips screw driver

lets starts with the edm switch

to open up the edm switch use the glasses flat screw and gently pry on the tabs in the 4 yellow boxes to get off the 2 buttons.
on the back use the switch use the screw driver to pry up the tabs to get off the back cover.

hazard light switch

take out the a/c controls and unplug all the connectors
the connector for the harzard switch plug is what will be using
use a glasses screw driver and pop open the connector and pry out all the pins. BE VERY CAREFUL because you dont want to break it.

now push the wires into connector so that it lines up with the pins below (dont push in all the way. always double check prior to pushing in the pin all the way)

hazard switch is in yellow

pin 1 is of no use so just bend it downward
pin 2 goes to blue/yellow
pin 3 goes to white
pin 4 goes to blue/green
pin 5 goes to red
pin 6 goes to red/black

this is pic of the connector after i switched the wires around

Foglight switch is in red

pin 1 is for ground
pin 2 is for the park light dimmer bulb (splice into pin 6 wire from hazard switch)
pin 3 is for the park light dimmer bulb (splice into pin 5 wire from harzard switch)
pin 4 is for the trigger wire. this normally is spliced into the park light blub
pin 5 is for the trigger wire that goes to the relay

since my switch didnt come with a plug i had to make my own. i soldered each wire to the pin and then used shrink wrap to protect the connetors. i purchased a connector from radioshack and soldered the wires to pins.

how is looks when all wired up

usdm courtesy/fog/tcs switch

on the connector the last three slots on the far left should be open

use pins:
put the relay trigger wire into the far left connector
put the park light trigger wire into the middle connector
put the ground wire in the right wire

as for wiring up the lights you would do it either your fog lights or jdm headlights but that should pretty much be straight forward. if you have any questions or things to add feel free to do so.

Dream

LOL nah i'm moving it now. Was gonna let it get some burn here, so people could comment and know that theres a DIY for it now. Alot of people don't constantly visit the DIY section to see what's new.
