The Southcenter area would be fine for me, again. Thinking of a restaurant with a varied menu, how about somewhere like Claim Jumper (http://claimjumper.com)?

i also heard claim jumper was good. I would prefer not having it the weekend of the 24th though because we have inventory @ work that weekend and attendance is mandatory

How about Saturday the 17th? In looking around Southcenter, how about BJ's Brewhouse http://www.bjsrestaurants.com/index.aspx ? I like Claimjumper, but the portion size is huge. I'm down for whatever you guys like though.

The brisket at Ranchhouse (along with their sauce) is where I go when I NEED brisket!
Its a decent sized place, and quiet. Its about the perfect half way spot when we drive out to my Mother-in-law's beach house over by Westport.

100 miles round trip for me, according to mapquest. I'm good with that, gives me a chance to stretch the coupe's legs. I'll leave it up to the masses to make the call. Lets give it a few days and solicit feedback. Are you saying that you'd be able to make it out on the 17th if we do it in Olympia?
EDIT: Actually, before I put the cart before the horse, I need to find out what time my son's baseball games are on Saturdays before I can commit.
