sometimes u can pull the fuse and it'll start working again, sometimes it'll stop after a little bit again. mine was doing this then finally quit working all together.

The RL's had a problem with the small electric motors fail. I've heard of this on some forums...

the plastic gear that turns the motor for it is most likely broken. honda and their damn plastic!! if this is the case you can adjust it with a flathead screw driver to atleast get it back to the postion were you normally drive. there is no part available to fix this. honda only sells the entire steering column. check the list price on #3.
http://acuraautomotiveparts.org/acur...s=&view=normal would it have been so hard to just use metal to metal for the gears.hgeez:

that's hilarious! almost $1900? ha! fat chance!
well, thankfully, it came on the other day and moved, so I think it is the switch or a short or something. |

You can count the plastic pulley in the window regulators as another poor design choice. I had heard of the steering wheel motor problem before and tried to remove the motors from my RL before it went to the crusher but they were buried in the guts of the steering column....
