2022 NALM Wichita, KS Dates & Initial Info
I am pleased to announce that this year’s 17th Annual National Acura Legend Meet (NALM) will be hosted by the Wichita, Kansas ground team on September 14, through September 18, 2022!
That’s right, the Wizard of Oz state of Kansas, home of Dorothy and Toto. We will not have an audience with the Wizard of Oz, but we are trying to arrange an audience with the Car Wizard during our meet. Kansas is between Colorado and Missouri and is the geographic center of the continental U.S. meaning no one will have to drive across the country from one coast to the other to attend. We have selected a Hampton Inn that is less than a year old and offers a hot breakfast each morning at no additional charge. We will be reserving rooms with two queen beds in case you would like to share a room to reduce the cost. Save the Date: Arrival will be Wednesday evening, September 14, 2022. For those who arrive in time the group will meet at a local restaurant for dinner. Thursday, September 15, 2022 and Friday, September 16, 2022 will consist of events, photo shoots, and a drive. Saturday, September 17, 2022 will include dealer day at Acura of Wichita. This Acura dealership is part of the Walser Auto Campus that includes several buildings and car lines Acura, AMG, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexis, Mercedes Benz, MINI, Porsche, and Sprinter so you can check out many brands of new cars on Saturday. Saturday evening will include dinner and awards ceremony. Sunday, September 18, 2022 will be departure day after breakfast at the hotel. Hotel and registration information will follow at the end of March or the first of April here. Come and experience Midwestern hospitality in Wichita, the Air Capital of the World, and the home of Pizza Hut, White Castle, and Mentholatum. Wyatt Earp was a Wichita policeman, Carry Nation smashed bars in Wichita, and Dennis Mitchell, the comic strip character lived in Wichita. Looking forward to seeing you in Wichita this fall. |
