Default Canterbury Coupe Sunset

I was getting out of work late the other night when I came upon a mirage.

As I got closer I was able to visualize my way into it and drive home, so I did.

Oh, I first thought you were going to "sunset" the coupe.

Your DD still looks good after such a long and nasty winter.

Thanks Ken

If I wait too long I'll be in the "sundown" effect stage.....

Would have been a better image if I got there 5 minutes earlier with more intense sunset glow. As it was, being there in the moment looked better than the picture image after the fact so that's why I snapped the photo.

This was from last Thursday evening. I ran the coupe through a car wash the Sunday before (especially interested in the undercarriage wash), in the afterglow of sunset anything you take a picture of looks better and that certainly held true in this case.

Thanks for the coupe compliment. That liquid sunset effect did a great job of enhancing the looks of the car.

You should have seen how ugly it looked in bright 5:00 pm sunlight this evening. There was a quick snowstorm on Friday and I haven't cleaned it up yet... Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry is dating an attractive woman but then is surprised by her ghoulish looks in certain different lighting conditions.

Regarding Houston NALM - Not sure how to work this one out yet.

Thanks Mr. Road T. King...

I'm looking to catch the coupe after a rain shower at dusk with water beads for another image.

Likewise Marc right back at you!

The recent post of your coupe's liquid smooth lines motivated me to add this image to the thread.

Oooops - thanks Rich!

Took this image the other weekend as I was walking back to the car in the harsh light of early afternoon doing some errands on Route 17 - not too shabby:
