I'm trading the G1 for this tomorrow.

Hidden:

Before you judge me. The G1 is rusty, has a blown transmission, the title is back dated 2 years, and it needs a bunch of work. My G2 needs tires, a timing belt and motor mount for the 3.5, and the title is back dated from the people who I got it from. And my Escort doesn't have a title and I can't get it till the owner pays his loan off which the title is on for collateral. So, this runs, drives, has A/C, and it has a title. Sure it's an old Taurus, but whatever, it was owned by an old man and it's pretty clean other than some rust behind the doors and a scrape under the gas door. It needs a little work, the rear brake lines are rusted out and it overheats, pretty sure it's just the thermostat though. So I'm going to bomb around in this for a while.

Well it doesn't lose any coolant, and the fans are set to run all the time. It gets hot, then cools down. Pretty sure it's the thermostat.

I got it from a junk yard. It was just going to get crushed, traded for a car roughly the same size/weight. It's just temporary till I can figure something else out.



Got it home today, took the stupid Pontiac hubcaps off and put on my stock Escort ones.







Everything on this car works, except the heat gauge. And the wipers stop in the up position, not sure what that's about, probably just something wrong with the motor. My only complaint is that it has manual windows, it has power locks and mirrors though. It's just an L model, but it is a V6. Just wish it had a manual!
