Pick it up and do a V8 swap like an LS or a 302. That's what I hope to do.

Do a swap for what? What's a 302? Yea if it's still around when I finish the sedan, I'll pick it up.

Anybody wanna help with a tranny swap? LoL?

Former E46M3, E92 (335i) and current E82(135i) owner here.
Great cars, but I sure as shit wouldn't want to fix one on my dime.

really love bmw's second only to Honda.
Buddy of mine just picked up a E36 328I (manifolds and ecu tuned) it's a very nice car very smooth.

E32 E34 and E36 are virutally worthless over here, even E39 540I is cheap just as a E38 7
E24's are worth gold and a E30 is quite wanted as well.

Personally if I come across a decent 325I pre '87 or better a 2.7 ETA I'll buy it right away.
That or a very nice E32 750I.
