Perusing the interweb a few months ago I stumbled on a car that ticked all the boxes (except it needed some 'minor' work). I didn't have time for a project as I am still working 3 jobs 7 days a week, anywho, I ended up with a project. The seller provided false information and the short of the story is that it turns out the car hadn't been driven for 5 years and needed a lot of work.
So after re-wiring the accessories, installing a new stereo which did not previously exist and after investing some intense hours and dreadful amounts of money into this pit, I ended up with this. ![]() ![]() ![]() Hit a kangaroo on a 2500 mile round trip: ![]() New transmission filter, diff oil, ball joints, wiring, changed frozen brake calipers ![]() (Those with a keen eye may notice the spare W126 that was purchased for parts to get this thing running half decent!) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The re-wiring and cleaning up process: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
