question, why do the rims have a universal lug pattern when they came from the factory?

They didn't come from the factory, those are Motegi MR12's. . .

I did NOT say THOSE were S/R wheels, I said it had it's own unique wheels, as in the S/R had a different wheel than the other ZX2s. . .
These wheels.  As opposed to.    And.
