It's gotten to a point that every time it snows, I can't wait to drive the SH-AWD.

I hope I'm not in the minority

I don't like driving in the snow when other cars are around. The RL is a tank in the snow, but that doesn't stop someone from hitting me.

I am thinking I would like the 2006-2008 RL A-Spec model! The wiki link above lists the following for A-Spec RL

1. A-Spec sport suspension
2. A-Spec 18-inch alloy wheels, which allowed the use of more sports-oriented lower profile tires.
3. A-Spec appearance package consisted of a front air dam, side skirts, rear bumper air diffuser and a subtle trunk deck lid lip style spoiler

Although there is no mention of a different steering wheel...I am wondering if the A-Spec does in fact include this wheel....

If I'm not mistaken the very rare A-spec model has a Mugen kit....

^^ mistaken, A-spec kit is an entirely different kit than the Mugen

A-Spec Kit

Mugen Front:

Mugen Rear:

Mugen M1 Front:

Also notice fender arcs

Mugen M1 Rear:

Mugen MAX Concept (Mugen M1 Kit molded into the body w/ more differences)

Subtle, but the differences are there

I just bought an '07 Lakeshore Silver Metallic Tech Pkg, 76K miles with CMBS that had been de-PAX'ed. It is everything I expected and then some. More tech and gadgets than I'll ever use, CMBS/ACC and the SH-AWD are amazing and the big heavy bitch WILL get out of it's own way.

Make no mistake, it's not like a G2 KA7, for that you need to stay with a KA9. It is WAY heavier and more beefy feeling but the OEM Bose ELS 5.1 channel surround sound will blow your shit away if you get the right DVD-A discs. Only thing I have found that I don't like is that the KB1 doesn't like stop and go traffic and also doesn't much care for you to put your foot in it. Both actions will make your MPG go south in a hurry but if you drive it reasonably, you'll get 20-21 combined and 27-28 highway. Not too bad for a car this size.

You'll have to do your research and due diligence because there's a bunch of these that were on leases owned by old people or business people that didn't do shit maintenance-wise. With any luck you can find an '07-08 Tech with reasonable miles for $14-17K and it's one HELL of a car for that money for as in my case, I bought for $40K less than original retail.

Best thing is you will NEVER see a BHG unless you are incredibly stupid and don't pay attention to the MID (Multi-Information Display). Good luck---

Had to chime in again, last weekend was the first I've taken the RL out in a few months and even with a new play thing in the garage I fell in love with her again. If your buying now it's such a great value.

As X already pointed out there is a difference with the Aspec and Mugen. I do have the wood steering wheel on my Aspec.

If I could find a really nice A-Spec I just might... But I haven't really been looking either.

Is the A-Spec something that came from Acura? Dealer installed? Or?
