Also make sure if you're rolling, you have some idea about whether the car has any bondo on the quarters....
I knew my quarters were F'd and bondo'd by the previous owner so when I pulled my rears, they chipped and are pretty wavy/nasty. Don't really care though, going to weld new ones soon enough anyways... On my STI I just had an auto body shop grind about 1/16th-1/8th off a small section of the lip that was rubbing on my 18x9.5" summer wheels. I haven't had any problems whatsoever as a result. As soon as I got home, I POR15'd the entire wheel well/lip on that side to prevent any future rust issues.
